ABOUT THE PROGRAM
What is YEEE!?
Youth Empowerment, Entrepreneurship, and Employment! (YEEE!) is a youth workforce development program rooted in the belief system that education is for liberation.
YEEE!’s mission is to prepare young people in three areas — empowerment, entrepreneurship, and employment.
WHAT WE OFFER
Earn while you learn
Workshops & Trainings
Our job readiness training workshops support youth in gaining the tools needed to enter the workforce
Paid Internship Opportunities
YEEE! participants are paid a stipend-based wage that averages out to $16.00/hr
Work—Based Learning Credit
YEEE! participants receive a minimum of 120 work-based learning hours and school credit
1:1 Coaching & Leadership Opportunities
YEEE! participants receive individual coaching and are given opportunities to grow as a leader in their community
Field Trips & Site Tours
YEEE! participants are taken on college & career exploration field trips and site tours to learn about different industries
Life after High School
Our participants leave YEEE! prepared to accomplish their future goals and aspirations

What to expect
Eligibility
- Rising 9th-grade to 12th-grade students
- Students attending San Mateo County Schools or GED program
- Students with lEPs, Disabilities, and Dreamers
- Priority enrollment will be given to students who identify as Black, Latino/a/x, and Pacific Islander
